Hi, My name is Imogen, and I’ve always had a keen passion for looking after animals in need, which lead me to study a university degree in Canine Therapy at Writtle University in Chelmsford. Within the degree, we got the opportunity to work with ex-racing greyhounds and police dogs, in order to aid their rehabilitation and fitness, through the use of hydrotherapy and massage therapy.
During the summer of 2019, I undertook a canine bodyworker course, which is now my second massage qualification, and I obtained my level 4 hydrotherapy advance aquatic treadmill techniques unit. I look forward to getting to know all of your furry friends and would welcome any questions you may have about any of the services that we offer.
Hi, I’m Lydia! I’m a qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist and Canine Hydrotherapist, with a strong passion for helping dogs live happier, more comfortable lives. I trained and graduated from ARU Writtle University, where I developed a solid foundation in evidence-based rehabilitation and animal biomechanics.
I’m also a proud member of RAMP (the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners), which means my work meets high professional and ethical standards, giving owners peace of mind that their dogs are in safe hands.
I love being part of the team at Imogen’s Canine Theracare and enjoy working with dogs of all ages and abilities. I support and treat a wide range of conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, injury recovery, chronic pain management, and age-related mobility challenges. Every treatment plan is individually tailored, always working closely with owners and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes!
At Imogen’s Canine Theracare, you’ll often find me carrying out nail clips, assisting with treatments, administrative jobs, and helping ensure every dog feels comfortable and cared for. I’m also happy to answer any questions you may have about our shop or services, just come and say hello!
I look forward to meeting you and your pups!
Hi I’m Iwan, I’m a performer, who loves animals and I work here in my spare time. When I was younger I was really interested in animal sciences and welfare. My family have helped re-home 3 rescue dogs whilst adopting 4 ourselves. When I heard about Imogen’s work I was interested because as a dancer I know how important rehab, physical therapy, massage and exercise are for your body and mental state, and am glad Imogen can make these techniques accessible to animals.
I chose to work at Imogen’s Canine Theracare because I appreciate Imogen’s hard work, selflessness and services that help animals and owners alike have the best quality of life possible. Knowing what animals that are unfortunately abandoned and abused go through, if I can help them recover with the rehab services provided, or just help a loved pet maintain its good health, then that’s a good thing as they deserve a healthy life. It’s a beautiful miracle to see a dog go from being unable to walk, to wagging it’s tail and running around.
Hello, my name is Milly!.
I joined Imogen’s Canine TheraCare in December 2024 and quickly found a role I truly love.
I’m responsible for clinic administration, including bookings, invoicing, insurance claims, and day-to-day operations, while also supporting therapy sessions with dog handling and client care.
I’m calm and confident with all dogs, including reactive cases, and I’m looking to pursue canine behaviour in the future.
I look forward to meeting you!
